No matter what stage, age, or season you find yourself in, there's a place for you at Highland. You are invited to come just as you are and be a part of community at Highland, where we are working together to discovering God's restoration in our own lives and the world around us.

Service Time - July 4-August 15

For the past few summers, Highland has engaged in a practice of joining together for one, blended service. This is a chance for us to reconnect with and get to know one another better.

9:00am - Bible Classes

The Bible class hour will begin with a central gathering in the Atrium at 8:45am for everyone to connect, grab a cup of coffee and a donut, and hear about the class offerings for the week.

10:00am - Blended Service
The auditorium is set up for social distancing, masks will be required, and we’ll sing together. Both services will be in-person, as well as live streamed.

Beginning June 13, masks are optional for everyone while in the Highland building. This decision comes after countless hours of prayerful deliberations and the consideration of many factors. We are grateful Abilene is experiencing encouraging trends in the low number of positive COVID cases, mitigating the risks of community spread.

Seating in the auditorium is now fully open, but communion trays will continue to not be passed at this time. Communion elements will be available as you enter the auditorium.

Student Ministry

Here at Highland, we believe that the presence and voices of students will teach our church things about God's coming restoration that we would not otherwise be able to learn otherwise.

University Ministry

Highland University Ministry is a gathering of young adults within Highland’s congregation who seek to live into and live out God’s Restoration together. This community desires to embody God’s restoration through being able to recognize one another, being the most well-rested beings (in every meaning of the term), and practicing the Spirit drenched rhythms that usher in God’s restoration.
