Welcome to Highland Worship Ministry
We are a family of worshipers called to serve our church, glorify God, and declare the liberating power of the gospel of Jesus in life transforming worship experiences. When we participate in worship, we believe we encounter God, the Holy Spirit reveals and restores, and the name of Jesus is lifted up as the only name worthy of our praise.
Volunteer in Worship Ministry
Whether you sing, play an instrument, or prefer helping out behind the scenes, we have a place for you to serve in this ministry! There are three worship team expressions that you can sign up to participate in: A cappella Team, Instrumental Team, and Production Team. Learn more about each team below and prayerfully consider how you might best serve the church in worship.
A cappella Team
Our A cappella Team is a group of rotating volunteers who lead worship on Sunday mornings in our 8:45am a cappella service. The team usually consists of nine singers with microphones: 2 sopranos, 2 altos, 2 tenors, 2 basses, and 1 worship leader. We sing a mixture of traditional hymns and contemporary worship music. If you have a passion for leading a cappella worship, we’d love for you to fill out an application by clicking the link below. Once you have completed the application, a leader from this ministry will reach out to you to set up a meeting and discuss next steps.
Instrumental Team
Our Instrumental Team is a group of rotating volunteers who lead worship on Sunday mornings in our 11am instrumental service. We use a full band made up of drums, bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, keys, violin/cello, and 3-5 singers. We primarily sing contemporary worship music with hymns mixed in from time to time. If you sing or play an instrument and are interested in leading contemporary worship, we’d love for you to fill out an application by clicking the link below. Once you have completed the application, a leader from this ministry will reach out to you to set up a meeting and discuss next steps.
