Walk for Autism – Big Country Spectrum Connection

This year, Highland is sponsoring the Big Country Spectrum Connection’s 4th Annual Walk for Autism! This nonprofit is dedicated to supporting, educating, and empowering families impacted by autism in our community. The walk serves as a key event to raise awareness and funds for autism support. All money raised stays in the Big Country area, with the majority going to help cover the cost of diagnostic testing for those that cannot afford their deductible, or who have insurance that will only cover specific providers that often have a waitlist of a year or more.

The walk will take place on Saturday, April 12 at Redbud Park from 9am to 12pm, and though the event is specifically aimed at those whose families and loved ones are impacted by autism, all are welcome to show up and support!
