Sermon on the Mount Class

We often encourage children to memorize Scripture as part of their spiritual formation, but, for many of us, the practice wanes as we move into adulthood. And even if we continue to commit Scripture to heart, we often learn individual verses that we never recite aloud for anyone but our pets or our bathroom mirror. Sadly, we’re missing out on a deeply meaningful (and often fun!) spiritual practice. This pop-up class invites you to celebrate Lent by learning a section of the Sermon on the Mount by heart and telling it to others. If that goal sounds equally interesting and intimidating, don’t worry; the class will provide the equipping and accountability necessary to meet the challenge. Hosted by Dr. Cliff Barbarick.
