Joe Almanza
Joe came to Highland in 2004 as the Community Minister and continues to serve as one of the Restore Abilene ministers; directing Freedom and Grace Fellowship and serving as a Chaplain at the Taylor County Jail and Prison Minister. Joe considers himself to be an evangelist and a soul winner. He is passionate about walking with neighbors in their Christ-journey and learning the ways of Jesus. Joe loves that Highland loves God and their neighbors as they love themselves.
Joe enjoys spending time with God and his family in nature and is a camping enthusiast. He loves eating good food, traveling and loves to grow his own vegetables through gardening. Joe is married to Becky and together they have 3 children and 1 granddaughter.
