Nathan Sanders
Nathan has worked at Highland since September 2021 after spending the previous 14 years at a local accounting firm. He and his family have attended Highland since 2006. Nathan handles the financial side of the church’s operations, from processing contributions to paying bills to preparing financial reports for church leadership. Additionally, as our church’s human resources person, he processes payroll and manages employee benefits. Nathan also supervises our administrative and maintenance teams. Nathan is all about organization and attention to detail. Sometimes he even thinks in spreadsheet form! For him, getting to use his “nerdy” skills to assist a church he is passionate about is the ultimate blessing.
A former sports reporter and coach, Nathan is a sports junkie. He loves playing basketball and tennis (when his knees allow it). He loves his alma mater, the Texas Longhorns, as well as all the Dallas-area professional teams and Oxford United FC, but his favorite teams to watch are the ones his three children play for. He and his wife also enjoy binge-watching the latest TV series once the kids are in bed and going to movies on date nights.
